Shab - e - Barat
Shab-e-Barat is an important night in Islamic tradition, observed on the 15th night of Sha'ban, the eighth month of the Islamic calendar. It is believed to be a night of divine mercy, forgiveness, and destiny when Allah determines the fate of individuals for the coming year. Many Muslims observe this night with special prayers (Nafl Salah), recitation of the Quran, seeking forgiveness (Istighfar), and making du'a for themselves and their loved ones.
In some cultures, people also visit graves to pray for their deceased relatives and distribute food as an act of charity. However, the religious significance of Shab-e-Barat varies among scholars, with some considering it a special night based on various Hadiths, while others regard its observance as a cultural tradition rather than a religious obligation.
